In brass, ‘T/Kent’ over ‘Cyclists’. Three loops to the reverse. 1/1 Battalion deployed to India in 1916 and wore locally cast brass shoulder titles, ‘1/Kent’ as illustrated below.
Formed in 1908 as the 6th (Cyclist) Battalion, The Queens Royal West Kent Regiment. In 1910 became the independent ‘Kent Cyclist Battalion’.
