Default No2 Commando Sweetheart broach

Hi

I picked up this No2 commando sweetheart broach, the backing is silver and the commando part has a pin behind.

There appears a claymore sword instead of the fairbairn sykes knife.

I have never seen a similar badge before. Any other experiences?

Kind regards
JB

The 2nd Special Service Battalion wore also a badge with green crossed claymores on a purple square.

I now noted that I posted erroneoulsy under Canadian badges!

I cannot read the writing on the reverse of the badge. Does it say sterling?

I am still waiting for the badge to arrive but but I think it says "silver EP" or "FP". The badge looks really old.
