Default Salamander Patch

As this is a good evening to share rare commando badges I want to show my example of an orginal No1 commando salmander patch.

Regards
Jean-Baptiste

Default repro Salamander patches

Hi

I am in the process of putting together a display of my father's Commando artefacts ( he was in No1 Commando). To complement a number of my dispaly frames I have decided to incorporate some repro patches, I have managed to obtain some very good quality examples from the supplier / maker Montys Locker, who produces a very good version of the Salamander in flames. I have however through my research come to realise that there were a quite a few variations on this particular embroidered emblem, the Montys Locker design is an exact copy of the type found in Peter Taylors excellent book. However my favourite design is typified by the one that Jean - Baptiste recently obtained, so my request is does anyone out there know of any good repro suppliers that I could check out to see if they produce the type of Salamander that I am interested in?

Cheers Andy
