Default yeomanry badges

I picked these two up last week and am just looking for any info on them . Am happy with them but am putting them up as to opinions re restikes.

Both look OK to me. The Staffordshire Yeo was worn upto the 1960s despite the QV Crown. WH are always tricky as they are so widely faked.

Jim,
Your Welsh Horse looks to be the right pattern, but as Alan has already stated these have been heavily copied.
Take a look at Bantam's examples for a comparison.

The badge would have to be compared up close with a known good one to compare the pattern of lines and dots on the leek to be sure.
