Default Lake Superior Regt. in Plastic ????

An unusual claim for a WW2 Lake Superior Regt. in plastic. This is the first time I have seen (or heard) of such a badge. Does anyone else know anything about this??? Pity there's no additional informations from the vendor.

I have never heard of this badge made in plastic either, however I am not a guru like some of the others here. I personally do not like the lack of detail of the badge. To me it lacks much of the crispness of the metal badge.

What are the thoughts of other members on this badge?

I left a message to the seller for a pic of the back and more info on the origin, and I'm waiting to see if I get anything new.
Happy to know you are doing OK Clifford.

that's a very degraded/compressed photo - I would bet it's quite sharp in detail.

Default Lake Sup. sold

Well the Lake Superior in plastic was sold for US$42.00. Perhaps the bidders knew something that we did not.

Hey Jo, It's possible I suppose. I wonder if the winner bidder is a member here. If so, I'm certain we will get additional information on this one.

And Yes Jo, I'm doing fine here in KAF, only a couple minor disruptions to date. I am hoping for a very uneventful tour.

I suppose if winning bidder was a member he would certainly be proud enough to tell something about his latest find, right. And, if you click on his pseudo his picture will show up, maybe someone will be able to identify him.
BTW, will you be back by April 19 for the next Ottawa show???
Still,take care of yourself.

On a final note,I was disappointed that the vendor did respond to my query about showing the back of the badge and origin. We might have learned something new on this.
Cheers to all.
