Default Mystery slip ons

Highland is the abbreviation for the 51st Highland, 7th Bn the Royal Regiment of Scotland - an Army Reserve infantry unit in north Scotland.

More likely to be "Punjab Police Service" rather than Pakistan.

Dave.

ACLD would have thought if it is Chaplain and obviously a special order that they would have purple on tartan, just a thought??

"More likely to be "Punjab Police Service" rather than Pakistan." That seems likely to me, as the Indian Police did use the five pointed star in their badges and rank insignia.

Default BAOR

The BAOR title could be a late 1940s item worn wholly unofficially by, for example, National Servicemen on terminal leave prior to demob having spent their service in Germany. Similarly unofficial titles proliferated circa late 1945 such as INDIA COMMAND, SEAC, FARELF and even I think SEAAF. Mike
