Unknown lapel pins
Hi All,
Have 2 pins here given to a friend of mine by their father, in turn given to him by his father, who had 2 brothers killed in WW1. OK, the ASC one on the right I suppose is a membership badge of some kind. (side note, neither brother was ASC, one was a sapper in the RE the other a rifleman in the 13th Bttn, Rifle Brigade.) The Green one, however, has me stumped. Anyone seen it before? Cheers, Tim |

Tim,
The ASC badge is actually RASC and is post WW1, and is a pin badge. This would have been worn in civilian clothing, The green one I have no idea. Eddie |

The GviR cypher in the RASC badge dates it from 1937-1952 and is a sweetheart brooch, the other has me stumped, doesn't look British.

I agree with Thomas. Maybe it's German - K = Korps?
Could be a friendship pin ie. exchanged during a visit from a member of the opposing side? Regards, Craig |
