I agree. Way too clean. And is there an accepted existence of this maker, making them in that period.

hi guys
i don't like it and i wouldn't pay anything like what it went for. it looks like it was made yesterday, it looks thin, unusual blackening, never seen this maker on an aussie badge, the slider looks to long, etc i haven't seen anything like it before and ive collected them for 20+ years. that's not to say its not genuine and may have a different opinion if i could hold it. i have some mint unissued tiptaft badges and they are magnificent items. this doesn't have the wow factor. anyway, that's just me bc |

It's a fake, the "O" in the abbreviated Company should have an underscore!

Fake Lambourne badges
It's a pity a few more badge collectors don't look up this forum before they part with huge sums of money for badges that purport to be almost 100 years old, a little more thought before bidding on the huge amount of fake badges that appear on the market would save them a lot of money.
Genuine Lambourne badges were IMO never that well made and the fakers offerings are generally too well made. Rob |
