Default Well known British actor 1stWW

A young future stage and movie actor*.At the time of this photograph he was with the 2/1st Huntingdonshire (Cyclist) Bn.1917. Said to have served with 4th (Service) Bn. The Bedfordshire Regt. and the 7th (Service) Bn. The Northamptonshire Regt.

Once again apologies but had to add this photo of a group of Liverppol Scottish Officers in WW1. The future " Sherlock Holmes" Basil Rathbone is in the centre of the photo and for those older members who might have long memories James Dale who played Dr.Dale in Mrs.Dales diary is top left.

Another famous member of the "Scottish" was Air Chief Marshall Sir Trafford Leigh-Mallory who was a member of the "Scottish" for a week before being selected for officer training.
