Default Canadian Special Air Service Cap Badge Bullion

I am putting this out there, I have been looking to find this to be a fake, however in the 9 pages 122 threads read. I have yet to find a picture of my badge.

Didn't pay much for it. I grabed it thinking it was a Bullion Officer's Cdn Arborne. Scanned it today and went Hmmmm don't think so.

Please take a look at the pictures below and let me know for sure. Also could it be SAS elsewhere

Last badge feel good about, but hey let the experts wieght in.

Chris

Hi,

I believe it is Canadian SAS, but produced by the association, so fake sort of, it has never existed as a proper badge to my knowledge only produced for collectors and insignia displays for "Old Boys", but someone no doubt can tell you definitively

Tom has explained it. Marway Militaria had a frame with all the "fantasy" Canadian SAS badges recently. There was a note in the frame indicating that the badges had been made up.

The last badge is one of two bullion versions worn by the regiment. They also wore the typical metal badge.

Thank you for your replies to my question. I did read the Marway thread however no photos so was still uncertain.
I will put it in the fake box, but I am thinking of posting it in an album of "want to be's". I wonder since we all come across these kind of badges and titles if there couldn't be an open album. If at some point a badge or such is determined that to be the true deal then it can be removed.

Just a thought.

Thank you Phil,

I must not be putting the right keywords in my search. I was certain that I was not the only unlucky or very lucky soul to run across this badge.
