The Administrator of this forum would not allow the words that come to mind.
Makes one wonder why we ever bothered over them Regards, John

One thing I have always liked about the forum is that we can post things such as this. This image, as well as the recent riots and murders in Afghanistan, remind me of the temper tantrums thrown by a 3 year old. From these images, and personal experience, to clean one of my old army sayings, these people think that their excrement doesn't stink. If fear truly is the beginning of wisdom then these people need to be given a reason for fear, not another apology. They do believe that Islam is the answer to all the world's problems. I would submit that Islam is the problem and has been for a considerable time. A religion that doesn't recognize the humanity of anyone who does not agree with its dogma produces images such as those seen in this video. It is much easier to destroy things than it is to build. Islam hasn't built anything for the past 1000 years. Gaggafi was deposed in part because he didn't, or couldn't, use the hatred shown in this video as a unifying force to rally his people against the West, and/or the Jews. Do not think that if Islam should become dominant anywhere in the West that this scene will not be repeated.
Anyone disagreeing with this is invited to watch the video again and to then make an argument. I would much rather be talking about badges but I don't do that in a vacuum. Don

Makes my blood boil too, I can't write what I want to because it will only get deleted but it would involve the removal of a few testicles

Blood is boiling. I understand why the men where buried there. It's time to bring them home.
Regardless of the current economic climate they should send a strong team to exhume the remains from this and similar 'hostile' countries and extradite the servicemen to their commonwealth country of origin. Rebury with full military honours in existing or new Commonwealth cemetaries. |

Peter,
More Chauvanism than hatred, I think. The relationship between the two is interesting. Think of the Nazis with their perfect race, the communists with the perfect class, and the moslems with their perfect religion. Each uses/used hatred of a selected group to unify their followers. Bringing home the war dead is a solution to this, but, what do you do when this occurs in the next town instead of in another country? This is not an easy question to answer. If I had one I would present it here. Don

As said before, I can't say what I want but would wish for another Gaddafi (friendly to west) but did the same as the last one. Nothing wrong with the occasional electric shock treatment. I took down a recent comment on another thread on this as I didn't want to be seen as a Muslim, Arab etc hater; because I'm not. But I do sincerely hope we don't help the Syrian's fee themselves; as there are CWG there too.
P.S. One does have the urge sometime to sow a red cross on one's shirt sometimes.......and I don't mean the one above an ambulance.... |

Sewing On A Red Cross
Simon,
As I recall the First Crusade was a result of a desecration such as this. Correct me if I am wrong, my history is fuzzy. We are condemned to live in interesting times. Don

It is a long time agao now, but I seem to remember Gaddaffi being even worse than this when he first took over.
Didn't he "evict" the Italian war dead from their graves in Libya?

Arabs are famous for doing battle when the odds are in their favour; here their victims couldnt fight back; they'd already given their all.
