Default Dug badges.

Have a look at this auction and others by the same vendor. His collection has spent quite a bit of time underground.

I would guess all come from the large stash that was - literally - unearthed 2-3 years ago.

A large proportion of these were Nova Scotia units...

In varying conditions...

There used to be an Ordnance Depot at Cobourg that held the stocks of badges for the Canadian Army, Apparently many were buried in the early to mid-60s and were dug up later. Many more, mostly KC badges, were diverted by an enterprising storeman, and badge collector, from the scrap dealer, who was hauling them out. to the storeman's basement. They were eventually sold to a number of different dealers to finance the storeman's port-retirement project. I saw the badges in his basement in 1968 or 1969.
