FRENCH PARA BADGE
Can anyone say why this French badge has RCP on the scroll and what does the writing on the back mean/Also what year is this badge from?

Hi actionoke, I can help you with what is written in the back, The word "futebol"is probably portuguese for "football" or more popularly known as soccer.
72/73 could be a championship year. 1equipa is for 1st Team. Finally this badge is a copy of the french ETAP (Ecole des Troupes Aéroportées) and the RCP is for Portugal's RCP, or Regimento de Caçadores Páraquedistas (Paratrooper Hunter, or Ranger Regiment). The first portuguese paras were trained by the French,so that's why they probably adopted some of their insignias. Jo
