As a new user why am I prevented from looking at the Gallery?

Thank you Mike for the link to the T&C's but it still doesn't tell me "why?". I tried searching FAQ's for an answer but my searches returned Zero results.

I see I can access it now, so the question becomes redundant. I was just intrigued and wondered what the reasoning was for this descision.

It was a group decision from a while back. The idea is that the many thousands of images, which would be particularly useful to the restrikers and fakers, should not be freely available to anyone.

If you're not a posting member then you cannot access the albums. Once you start posting then the counter is running to give you access in a short while. if you post garbage/spam then it's deleted by a moderator before anyone else sees it, and you are back to no access. - so you cannot spam your way in either.

Thanks for the explanation Mike, it hadn't occured to me that people might want to do this sort of thing, so it makes sense, Cheers - Mark
