Default Indonesian Para Komando

Posted mainly because of the unusual choice of edged weapon for Indonesian SF of the 1960s and 1970s - a Fairbairn-Sykes fighting knife. What was the logic in that, I wonder?

Whilst serving in Borneo in the 60s I remember hearing on the news that the British Government had decided to stop all military aid to Indonesia. Nice to know at that time as we had been fighting them for a year. Perhaps we were supplying the KKO (commandos) with their equipment!
