daily mirror!
hi guys,
i dont know why i did it but this morning i read my grandads daily mirror that came through the door. its done nothing to improve my mood. such a pile of dangly bits. two stories caught my eye. the first a spread on david cameron spying on beach volley ball players. what the hell, is there no genuine news to report with all thats going on in the world. nice pictures though, thise of you who may have seen it know what i mean  secondly, an article on MOD auctions. i cant help but think, is selling unissued equipment off at a tiny fraction of its value really going to help any? how about a brand new gazelle for 100 grand, cost 5 million. or a snatch landy for 2 grand, cost 65 grand, ive seen second hand wrecks sell for 8 grand. how about an armoured jag for 15 grand? insanity. as the article says, these thing will all surely be needed as soon as they are sold. failing all that hms ark royal is at auction, bids are at approx 4 million at the moment. quick sales, total loss. how Is that making up a deficit? im no economist! end of rant regards phil
