Almost certainly taken in the UK - but not possible to identify even those wearing a battalion colour patch - it could be that of 37th, 56th or 60th Battalions AIF. Can an expert identify the brass (?) badge worn on the left forearm above his wound stripes of the Pte sitting cross-legged in front of the group?
