Default A/A INTELLIGENCE CORPS KC

Hi All, I picked an a/a intelligence corps up this week and have been looking for a picture/post on it but can only find it in the lists of badges to a/a makers, being a KC badge i take it to be one of the harder to find badges, could anyone tell me how hard or not as the case may be it is to find one of these, unfortunately the slider has been broken off but the badge is in good condition otherwise.
Thanks Andy.

Hi Andy,

Most KC badges are scarce when compared to their QC version and the KC Intelligence would be up there with the more difficult to find examples. It is a shame the slider is missing though but is still a good acquisition.

Any chance of an image of the rear of the badge please.

Regards

Chris

I had a KC anodised Intelligence Corps cap badge acquired in the 1970s but it was stolen from my office display in 1983! The office was in the secure area of an Army Divisional Headquarters! Still looking for a replacement to go with my collection:

Default A/A INTELLIGENCE CORPS KC

Thank you for your replies Chris,Paul and Tim. I was just happy to find a KC a/a badge and wasn't expecting to see one had gone for that sort of money and if tim has been waiting 28 years to find a replacement they must be a scarce badge to find.
Heres the back photo and thanks for taking the time to reply.
Andy.

Not really Chris.

The very same one that Paul has I sort of (embarrassed cough) missed a couple of days earlier.

I console myself by telling myself that as I don't collect A/A I am not too bothered.

Luck just wasn't with me this week (I didn't win the £161 million either)

Paul says "An identical badge sold in a well known auction house in April 2008 for £468 plus commission."

Phew - £468, just for a cap badge? I guess there is no understanding of the collecting bug - perhaps it might be a good subject for a psychological study?

Far, far too much for me...

Remove either the number 4, 6 or 8 just leaving the other two (in any order) and I may be interested.
