Default DVD Projector

Thanks to Ry (Charlie 585) I have been briefed on some of the new fangled stuff which has come on the market since I used to use an epidiascope (now museum pieces) when I gave talks, and so I have learned about Digital Voice Recorders, and DVD Projectors. My grateful thanks Ry.

I understand how the DVD projector will work through a PC or lap-top, but do not have a lap top and cannot cart my work-station around, but I do have a very good quality DVD/Video player for use with a TV. Please can any of the boffins on the forum tell me if that will work with a DVD projector in place of a lap tap.

Edited to add I will download a picture of fittings at back of my DVD/Video player.

Many thanks,

john

Default DVD Projector

Herewith a picture of the fittings at the back of my DVD/Video player for use with TV, which I would hope to use with a projector.

John

'Normally' as long as you have the same type of connector 'at both ends' - and they are male/female etc - and you have the cable of course, it 'should' work.

John,

In answer to your last PM.

your DVD player appears to have an HDMI socket so you shouldn't need an adaptor.

Default DVD projector

Thanks for the pm's and your terrific help Ry, I now know exactly what I am looking for, and can put in a bid for the money to buy it for the historical society I am involved with.
Regards,

john
