Default Bomber Squadron badge?

Can members shed any light on this badge please? Clearly British made, the swastika as a target means it must be Second World War. The bomb being dropped suggests a bomber squadron.

The motto is clear enough but is it possible a play on Can for Canadian?

I am also posting this on the Canadian section.

Any help gratefully received.

Not Canadian but American. "Can do" was the 305th Bomber Group made up from the 12/42 to 07/45, 364th, 365th, 366th and 422nd of the 8th Airforce. Nice badge.

The badge is probably of British manufacture as you say, as 8th Airforce was stationed in the UK for a time.

SOME TIME!

It was the "Mighty Eigth, a massive contributor to eventual victory, and it suffered appalling losses in pressing home its attacks in daylight. Not wise, but gallant beyond belief.

Some Time for which I am grateful.

Treasure the badge.
