Default Unknown Serviceman WW1?

A friend of mine has just moved home & found several old photographs in the loft.
Among them was this photo of a Serviceman which I guess to be from WW1.

Is anyone able to help to identify the Regiment/Corps to which he belonged?

You will need to enlarge the badge but he appears to be a Lance corporal in a KRRC or London regt bn.

Hi,
A very long shot, but here goes:
The badge seems to have a crown, a wreath, and the shape within the wreath has a slight resemblance to a map of New Zealand. If this is so, then the badge is the 32nd Reinforcements.
Cheers, Tinto

Looks to have a small black ST that could be KRR. Regards, Paul.

Tend to agree with previous opinions he looks like a Lance Corporal in the King's Royal Rifle Corps circa 1912 - 1920.
Black buttons, Maltese Cross shaped black cap badge, black KRR shoulder title.

Just tried to expand the image again and now less sure about cap badge as it may have a wreath around it and be more like the Leeds Rifles! But shoulder title is not big enough to match?

2 pence worth. The ST seems to have 3 letters or 3 characters.
Can't tell anything from the cap due to such low resolution of the original.
