Its interesting that I have yet to see one badge with a brass 'A' attached in your friends collection?

Hi, yes most of them are mint ex stores. Most of the A's one see are taken of RFA titles or made up bullion. I will ask my friend the exact details but the A's are quite rare and were specifically made by the Australians quite late in the war. I'll try and photo some when I get home. Maybe Slick Mick might know. Mike

Its ok I have seen a few genuine A's. I have some in my collection and for reference there are plenty on the Australian War Memorial web site.

I've never heard of cut up RFA titles before? Have you heard about this Mick?
