Tiptaft Birmingham Buttons
I have started to gather a few Tiptaft back marked buttons.
So far I have found 2 distinctive back marks, I wonder if one is earlier? TIPTAFT LTD BIRMINGHAM J.W.TIPTAFT & SON LTD BIRMINGHAM (Large) J.W.TIPTAFT & SON LTD B'HAM (Medium) Here are the examples I have found so far, what other Regiments can be found by Tiptaft? Rob |

Looking on a silver markings site there is mention of 1909 as the date that Tiptaft went into partnership with his son, is it possible that was the date the back mark changed? Rob |
