If they are 'copies' then they look very well made. Prototypes maybe?

I've posted this question before but can't find the link, the very helpful suggestion was that these were akin to the titles 'SEAC' 'MALAYA' etc and possibly bought privately

"The BAOR title could be a late 1940s item worn wholly unofficially by, for example, National Servicemen on terminal leave prior to demob having spent their service in Germany. Similarly unofficial titles proliferated circa late 1945 such as INDIA COMMAND, SEAC, FARELF and even I think SEAAF."

Sorry. I've only just found that this question has had answers!

Thank you all for the information. It is well made, has the 'right feel' but appears unissued. I showed my old mate Charlie, who served in Germany 1947-8 with the RE and he said he never saw one being worn. That doesn't mean that they weren't of course..........maybe one day a photo will pop up somewhere?
