Default KRRC - Apostrophe

Can anyone please tell me if KRRC badges with apostrophes pre or post-date those without, or is the presence/absence of this punctuation mark simply down to maker's variation?

With thanks,

Peter.

Default KRRC

Hi Peter, I have 3 badges to the regiment - QVC, KC and glengarry (60th Foot)
None have the apostrophe shown in your pic.

Leonard,

One for the 'wants' list then perhaps?

I have others so imagine it is not uncommon, though don't know for sure.

Here's another example (apologies for the poor image quality) but I suppose once you've seen one, you've seen them all:

Smile KRRC

I think it's a makers variation, I have one which I cannot put a specific date to.

Rob,

Yes, it would seem to make more sense, wouldn't it?

Thanks,

Peter
