Default Coldstrean Guards Badge

Hi All

This badge arrived today with some others, its modern and a two part badge, but quite heavy probably because of the enamel. I haven't seen one quite like this before any suggestions as to what it is?

Cheers
Jim

Officers badge isn't it? I have a Victorian version which is missing it's enamel backing OR's and sgts use the "Square Star" and officers use the "Oblong
Star" I think

It is the Officers Pattern Forage Cap badge, although I suspect this one is either very modern and possibly a Asian copy as the quality is not the best!
