Other ranks in bi-metal. A Maltese cross with a St. Edward’s or Queen’s crown above. In the centre of the cross a ‘stag couchant’ within an oak wreath. Across the horizontal arms of the cross two scrolls inscribed ‘Sherwood Foresters.’ Beneath the cross a gilding metal scroll inscribed ‘Notts & Derby’— the rest of the badge in white metal.

This ‘Queen’s crown’ bi-metal version of the Notts & Derby Regiment badge is uncommon. An anodised aluminium ‘staybrite’ version was also produced.
