Other ranks in gilding metal. A 12 spoke bicycle wheel over a pair of crossed rifles. Above the wheel an Imperial crown. This example with two copper loops and a ‘J.R.Gaunt/London’ maker plate to the reverse.

Formed in 1908 as the 8th (Cyclist) Battalion, Northumberland Fusiliers. Became the Northern Cyclist Battalion in 1910. The Battalion converted to a Royal Garrison Artillery unit in 1920.
