Domed silver plated open back copper coatee button, 17.3mm diameter. In the centre a lion rampant. Around the perimeter the inscription ‘Light Horse Volunteers’. This example with the embossed backmark ‘Firmin & Co. London’

*Regiment formed 1779, disbanded 1783, reformed 1794, renamed ‘ Westminster Volunteer Cavalry’ 1797.
