Default what was the plaid brooch for the 5th vb Argyll and Sutherland ?

Hello gents,

i am interested in any information concerning the plaid brooch worn by the 5th V.B. Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders (1887-1908) :

- the old pattern of the Argyllshire Highland Rifle Volunteers (with a QVC 1887-1901 and a KC 1901-1908) ?
- a similar brooch of the regular Battalions with a VB scroll ?
- or what ?

Thank you beforehand.

Jean-Marie
