Hi Guys,

In 1971 the WRAC A/A badge was subject to a re-design due to structural failure where the shank attached to the rear of the crown and wreath.

Here are a couple of later model items being post 1973 London Badge and Button Co Ltd.

Can members please post earlier pieces.

Regards

Chris

Hi Ben,

The earliest known usage of the J.R.GAUNT B'HAM mark that I have from official documentation is 1966.

Default WRAC Manufacturers

Hi Chris

These are the only two I have; J.R.GAUNT B'HAM and J.R.GAUNT LONDON

I'm not sure if this helps in any way?

Best wishes

Gordon

Thanks Gordon, Ben.

What I'm looking for is a poor join between the slider and badge body. It seems that this badge was subject to redesign in this area. All the badges that I have seen appear to be the usual standard slider and body join so I don't really know what I'm even looking for so if anyone sees anything that looks a bid shoddy in this area can they let me know.

Regards

Chris

Default RADC

Hello Chris,
I thought I had an example of the WRAC badge, however when I checked it was to the RADC, I am posting some photographs because this badge has the weak area you refer to and is close to breaking.
Hope this may be of some help
Regards Tony

Thanks Guys,

Nothing is really jumping out at me at the moment though - problem is that I don't really know what I'm looking for but I expect it will be obvious when I see it.

Regards

Chris
