Default WW2 Canadian Airborne Officer's Badge for Sale.....

For those interested, just two days left in the sale.
As usual, I have no connection with this seller.

IIRC, that badge was offered last spring but at a higher price.

If only it was an Infantry School Corps 8-pointed star (with collars).

If my recollection of past auction hammer prices is accurate, this seems like a good deal. Has the market gone down or am I just confused?

It might be a good deal Joe but the higher-end stuff just isn't selling as fast as it was doing a while ago. There's quite a few dealers experiencing the same problem.

That would make sense. I'm not a dealer so I hadn't considered that aspect.

In the collector's terms, we are looking at $1000. Cdn for a badge of this quality, scarcity, and demand. A good benchmark to measure and use in the market.
