I'm not sure what made me laugh the most, the made-up SD, or the "unique" approach to spelling throughout the description......

Hi canny lad, as for your comment, I wouldn't bet on it.......remember what P.T.Barnum said......

I'm not a tailor or uniform expert but if I were asked to answer the above, I would say:

The wings are repro and sewn on too low.
The ribbons are sewn on without a proper backing, are missing rosettes and in the wrong order (seniority and date?).
The collar badges are the copy all whitemetal versions being pumped out, offrs would be Sil/Gilt.

I'm sure there is more? What a Walter, I wonder if the pick up address is near Hereford? I think in this particular case he has spelt "Kent" wrong!

Default sas uniform

Thanks for the comments, i totally agree with Andy, the collars are repro, these have never been worn by the Regiment, a well known seller on ebay who sells copies usually has these for sale, im not going to mention the seller but the initials are OCB, you know who i mean.
As Andy has said, Officers would have Silver and Gilt, i have about 15 pairs of British collars, i'll put them in my Album when i get a minute.
The wing is Repro, just look at the quality, total rubbish, these are usually on ebay for a couple of quid.
People can only make up their own opinions but i for one wouldnt touch this with a 50ft barge pole

Cheers
Brian

I am pretty sure that's not an officer's SD jacket and as for the Sam Browne ... well let's just say no officer would be seen dead in it!

:

Make your own fancy dress uniform for less but do get the medal ribbons in the correct order.

Despite the obvious errors there are people interested in this 'superb' item. Some doughbag may even part with his hard earned cash.
