Default unknown badge help please..!

can anybody help with the identification of this badge please? both lugs have broken of as can be seen in the photo.

Could possibly be a made-up fantasy badge utilising a badge wreath and separate letters.
I wonder if it could have Masonic connotations (OB = Order of Buffaloes).

Possibly a Fire Brigade badge? Oxford Fire Brigade?

The brass laurel wreath was a common feature of pre-WW2 FB badges.

Its a civilian Band badge.

Several threads on the subject on here if you can find them.

Worn by Factory, colliery, local brass bands and the initials are always impossible to work out.

Civilian band sound very plausible, the way the badge is put together doesnt quite have the look of a military badge. thanks dave
