Default Royal Alderney Militia ACF

Hi Guys,

This unit was raised in 1987 and uses an anodised aluminium cap badge. Does anyone know, or even has access to someone who might know, who the manufacturers of the badges were?

It has a distinctive lug shared with an number of other badges such as the Royal Scots and some Irish Guards badges and I would like to know who this particular maker is.

The lug is of round wire and has no feet which, when part of the lug, are used to increase the surface area of the lug for attachment to the badge body.

I have attached a photo of the Irish Guards lug for interest.

Regards,

Chris
