Bill - Those are very nice and as I am familiar with the manufacturer, I can say that they are of extremely high quality.
These badges were manufactured by Kinnear d'Esterre Jewellers in Kingston. When they went out of business a number of years ago, I purchased the cap and collar set and was asked if I wanted to have them frosted.
The owners of the firm were members of the regimentin the early days and early 14th Regiment badges can be found with their mark. My 253 Bn CEF badge also has the Kinnear d'Esterre mark on the back.
The non-commissioned members of the regiment wear this badge in a staybrite brass pattern, as opposed to the old badge which was non-voided and rather broad.
The officers also have a wire embroidered badge.
When Hugh Bondy reproduced his badges, one of them was the 14th PWOR badge - complete with Kinnear d'Esterre markings!
