Just got these two bages in a large lot today, i am assuming they are fake but would like to hear opinions

Hello Oliver, Yes thes are reproductions. Interesting copy of the officers' badge. They have the metals reversed. The give-away is the slider, but lots more wrong with these.
It seems there are more varieties of reproductions than one can count on toes if you were a centipede.

Just got back from Normandy. Noticed that there are replica badges being sold explicitly as copies at museums such as the Airborne Museum at Ste. Mere Eglise and the Juno Beach Centre, including Canadian Parachute Corps badges. Interesting.
