Unknown PJI badge

Good day gents,

Tried asking for id on this badge about a week ago in the "Mystery" section of the Common Threads. No luck, so I thought I'd try here as a collector here in Canada thought it might be Aussie.

It is a PJI badge, same design as RAF '43-'45 (after the war, Brits went to the half wing design). However, as you can see by the scale, it is definitely larger than the British badge, which is about 50 mm across.

So, is it from Australia? if not, any idea on where it's from?

Another thought is India, so I'll be posting in that section also.

Any help or info greatly appreciated.

To me the thread work looks to be Pakistani, or Indian.
As to age, authenticity unsure
