" Come and see how the Commonwealth War Graves Commission remembers over 38,000 servicemen and women buried and commemorated in Faubourg d'Amiens Cemetery near Arras, France. The Commonwealth War Graves Commission France Area will take part in the European Heritage Open Days at Faubourg d'Amiens Cemetery where the Arras Memorial and the Arras Flying Services Memorial can also be found.

The event will be held on Saturday and Sunday 14 -15 September 2013, from 10.00 am to 5.00 pm.

Staff will be on hand to provide practical demonstrations on headstone, horticultural and site
maintenance. The event will showcase the skills of staff who work to commemorate the casualties of the First and Second World War throughout France's 3,000 cemeteries and memorials. "

Staff will also be present to handle visitors' records queries.
