Default Calling all former Westies! Battalion, Band, and Cadet members!

The regiment is celebrating 150 years of service to the Sovereign, the Colony of British Columbia, and the Dominion of Canada, beginning 20 November 2012.

To keep up to date on the various regimental events occuring throughout the County of Westminster in 2012 and 2013, join our mailing list at the following link. You can also order the regimental pictorial history for delivery before Christmas.

The kitshop is now online to make it easier for farflung members to purchase their book or any of the other commemorative items, including miniature colours, coins, pins, and clothing.

I purchased a copy of the history - OUTSTANDING!
Now is probably a good time for regimental histories to be written since a lot has happened in the last sixty years. Unit members can see that they have been part of events that matter.

There is some very interesting information on badges in the history as well, for example the scarce brass/pewter bi-metal officers badges made in England during WW2 by a group of new officers commissioned from the ranks and the surplus used for years afterwards as RSM cap badges.
