Default Volunteer Reserves Medal

I acquired this medal from amongst the stock of a former military tailor, it is is not named but appears to be a very good copy if not an unnamed example- it passes the rubbing on white paper test ( leaves a black trail )

Anybody care to pass an opinion please ?

P.B.

P.S. the miniatures in the third photo are for sale if anyone is interested in making an offer.

hello PB

I Think that it is marked copy on the reverse. Be cautious with cleaning as these medals are usually plated copper.

Hope this helps,

Andy

And the definition of the obverse, and its being a one-piece casting are other alerts. Not meant to deceive, but not up to an original.
