Finally!
I've managed to get a Brown Beret of the type used by the Belgian-Luxembourg contingent during the Korean war.
The Belgian United Nations Command operated in Korea 1950-5. See more of my Korean War album: http://britishbadgeforum.com/forums/...p?albumid=1458 All the best, BP

I forgot to mention, the badge is the blackened silvered version produced in 1951. It has double lug fittings to the back.
This type was only issued to Sous-Officiers/Onderofficiers (that's NCO in English). If only I could find out the name of the soldier who was issued it. Ho hum.
