Not over keen on the badge re the lugs, quality of strike and the colour of metal. The buttons are very interesting, Iv'e never seen them in white metal
What are the manufactuters marks? There is a picture of a cap badge on my album but only the front, Look for one with a good amount of yellow braize over small feet on lugs. Best regards Kevin. |

Cap badge does not look that bad to me, there are some pretty poorly made genuine examples about! But some nice ones too if you can obtain a better example!

In Air Force terms, chromed or white metal badges are often associated with bands. Im WW2 RAF and Commonwealth Air Force, RFC is not really my thing, but that might be one answer. A couple of years ago I picked up a silver/white metal RFC cap badge.

I can't remember if it was on the Forum, or one one of the militaria sites. But I think someone was selling a WM RFC badge, decribed as a rare Provost cap badge. I couldn't find a reference to this anywhere.
