Research - Personalities
For the benefit of local historians I am seeking to amplify the very sparse details on a memorial in my local church (Somerset) of four men from the parish who died in World War 2.
Could a resident expert suggest how I could proceed? For example - one of the entries on the memorial reads: Sgt Victor John Cox Som LI Commando Regt (as carved) There are three others: Lt RA, Lt KRRC and Sgt Pilot RAF Any ideas would be very welcome. Thanks Mike |

Who was the KRRC officer?
He ought to have an obit in the KRRC Chronicle. If you post his name and the year of death I will see what I can find.

Many thanks both - your help is much appreciated. What a gruesome end for someone born and raised in peaceful North Cadbury.
