Billy,
I think you are wrong! It was my first thought, but the more I listened the more I knew it wasn't it.

Speaking of Monte Cassino and music.

The Poles, who actually took the Abbey wrote a song about the capture, entitled "Czerwone Maki na Monte Cassino" which means "Red Poppy Flowers on Monte Cassino".

I have done a bit of googling since posting that, it is a different Alfred Schutz. Must be. I thought it was interesting, odd, because the one i knew of was a social scientist.

Sorry for not replying quicker,

Phil

Hi Stanley,

Once upon a time in the west, is another ennio morricone score. He has a distinctive style, so many of his pieces are easy to mix up.

Regards

Phil

The music is from the film

`the good the bad an the ugly ` it is played near the films end when all 3 actors meet up again in the American civil war cemetry looking for the gold hidden in a grave ,the music reaches its hight when Eli Waloch is running round the grave yard seeking out the particular grave , regards ,Michael
