Default Free French?

Hi All,

Have had this badge for a few years, with no real idea of what it is. I found it in a box of my Nan's WW2 ATS badges and insignia. No idea where or how she got it.

I suspect it to be Free French and I have trawled the net myself with no proper result. I enjoy the research part of our hobby, but this is now doing my head in!

Any ideas on what it is?

Cheers, Paul.

Hi Paul, this the badge for the France's Auxiliaires Féminines de l'Armée de Terre (AFAT) created 1944.
