Default sad news from afghan

hi all ,

just heard of the death of a local member of the rir in afghan.he was l/cpl mckee from just down the road in banbridge on his 2nd tour.

respect to him and his family,and all others who have paid the ulitimate price

They went with songs to the battle, they were young,

Straight of limb, true of eye, steady and aglow.

Angry Re Afganastan

Hi All

I heard about the British Springer Spaniel that lay down and died after her handler was shot, this reduced me to tears!! I call that paying the supreme sacrafice. Lest we Forget, both the handler and the devoted Spaniel.
