JE Lush ex WWII Pilots Badges & Records
Would just like to share these items with anyone interested in this period.
Here are two of his cap badges and his wings and a) a page from his Pilots Log Book (started in 1935); b) a Xmas card sent to him in 1939 with an ironic message; c) a copy of a page out of the three Pilots Flying Log Books. He qualified as a first pilot in a Tiger Moth in 1942 and was qualified (amongst many others) to fly the Horsa glider. He was commissioned as a PO on the 2nd Nov 1942. His dog tags with service number and religeon are also included. Merry Xmas to all. David Addendum: His cloth wings and cap badge are already in my 'Flying' album and I will add them to the badge pictures whenever possible. Thanks to Steve for reminding me. Thanks. Generally, I do try and keep badges and bits together. Even though sometimes you pay over the odds, I think that its important and worth it in the long run. All the best. David |

Thanks. I have his CAG 'wings' and CAG cap badge as well - I just couldn't let them get split up like that. There are pics of both in the album. At some point I will take a picture of the lot, together. Happy new year, David |

Can't say I would feel safe flying in an aeroplane piloted by a Lush...
