Default RAF Badges - Dates?

Hi all, Can anyone out there date these badges for me?

HI Tony
The RAF Regtiment , Lac and eagles are all post war introduced during 1947 aprox the VR'S badge is a war time example looking at the photo how ever these have been copied and a better photo would help the last which is the area that I collect i would say is eather a late war / post war example please take a look at the AIR SEA RESCUE ARM BADGE THREAD on page 2 in this category steve

Default Raf badges

Hi Tony

As the previous poster stated, the VR is a wartime example and the ASR post war. As for the other blue/grey background badges they could be anytime from the 1947 colour change right up to 1972, when the battledress ceased and the new pattern dark blue background badges were issued. The exception to the earlier dates is the 3 bladed propellor of an SAC, not introduced until 1950. The same dates would also apply to the Regiment mudguards shown in the other post. Judging by the state of them they all came from pretty well worn uniforms.
