Tried to send you an email but seems you do not recieve from the forum system. If you find another badge please let me know. Background - just a white sheet of A4 paper will be OK as I will remove this. Straight on front and rear are all I need but I do need them to be large in detail size up to MByte size (not necessarily large in physical size) if possible or lots of detail will be lost. See example below. Don't use flash or the detail also is ruined - natural light behind something like a net curtain will also help eliminate shodows caused by the badge on other parts of itself. Don't worry if yours does not look as good as the one below as I may be able to 'tart it up' a bit. Over exposure is better to get the silver look or it will come out battleship grey on normal exposure. Many Thanks!!! Regards Chris |

Hi Paul, I've not included this badge as I have not found any official information on the Army Scripture Readers badge in official documentation and therefore is outside of the scope of work I am doing. As such, I believe that the unit is not officially part of the British Army although it does wear uniform. However, in reality is part of a civilian welfare organisation consisting of ex-service personnel but please pull me up on all of this if I am wrong. The Chaplains department is quite different though being an integral part of the armed forces and their badges I have included. Regards Chris |

The ASR wear uniform,in No2 dress no collar badges and plain gold buttons.
They are ranked as ASR surname, but wear no rank badges. I have an interesting book on the subject. |
